Regret to inform sudden demise of Firoze Jal Kapadia 72 yrs, on 10th Oct 2022 at Kolkata. Son of late Najoo and Jal Kapadia, brother of late Rohinton and late Hoshang and brother in law of Farina Kapadia. Deeply mourned by family, friends and colleagues.

Uma Banerjee was known as Tutu to her relatives, was renowned for her generosity, quiet strength and her selflessness. She was born on Jan.27,1939 in Calcutta. She was dynamic, helpful and intelligent, attended Bethune College and graduated B.A. She married her beloved husband Kamal Banerjee but unfortunately he died in a car accident in London. Their only child Sibsankar was 4. With her friends and family, Uma rebuilt her life, devoting her life in bringing her son up. Family members remember her legendary hospitality. She enjoyed traveling, went to visit her brother Satya in California twice, also travelled extensively within India. She passed away suddenly on Feb 28, leaving behind a vibrant legacy, selflessness and generosity.
Sri Jogabrata Ghosh (Mintoo), 93 years, son of Late Sri Kulendra Mohan Ghosh and Late Smt. Charulata Ghosh from Mymensingh (present day Bangladesh), passed away on August 21st. His death is deeply mourned by his brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends. His Shradhh ceremony will be held on September 2nd, at Mahanirban Math, 113, Rashbehari Avenue, Kolkata - 29 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
